Cyclo designed and delivered a purpose-built imaging suite for Southern Nuclear Imaging Group within Wollongong Private Hospital, bringing complex diagnostic equipment and clinical infrastructure together in a carefully coordinated environment.
Relocating into Wollongong Private Hospital
When Southern Nuclear Imaging Group relocated into the newly developed Wollongong Private Hospital, Cyclo was engaged to oversee the design and complete fitout of the new premises.
Built around specialist equipment
The fitout required substantial structural modifications to accommodate heavy diagnostic equipment, including CT and nuclear imaging scanners. Reinforced floor slabs and ceiling supports were incorporated into the building to meet the technical requirements of the equipment.
Coordinating complex services
Mechanical, electrical and medical gas systems were carefully planned around the imaging technology and clinical workflow. Construction sequencing, craning and specialist installation also had to be coordinated without disrupting the hospital’s ongoing operations.
Ready for clinical use
The completed fitout provided Southern Nuclear Imaging Group with a fully operational, purpose-built imaging suite, bringing specialist technology together with a practical clinical environment ready for immediate use.
