The vision for the clinic was to create a space that balanced clinical and non-clinical areas for the comfort of staff, clients and their pets.

Clinical functionality meets thoughtful, welcoming design
The vision was to create a veterinary clinic that balanced clinical capability with comfort, personality and beauty. The space needed to support the practical demands of a busy hospital while feeling open, light and welcoming for clients and their pets.
Cyclo helped bring that vision to life through the design and delivery of a 350-square-metre veterinary hospital on the first floor of a commercial building.

Thoughtful separation, better experiences
Client comfort was central to the brief. Inspired by the amenities of a hotel, the reception and waiting areas include guest Wi-Fi, a drinks fridge and a coffee machine. A dedicated long-stay waiting area gives clients somewhere comfortable to remain while their pets recover from procedures.

The approach
The clinic design reflects a transparent approach to veterinary care. Extensive glazing creates a sense of openness, including a window into the dental room where clients can watch their pet’s procedure.

Calming interiors
The clinic’s layout needed to accommodate two distinct experiences: a large, highly functional hospital at the rear, and comfortable consultation and waiting spaces at the front. The design brought together clinical functionality and a distinctive aesthetic, creating room for the owner’s personality and taste while supporting the clinic’s day-to-day needs.

Thoughtful amenities and welcoming areas
The finished clinic combines a substantial clinical workspace with welcoming client areas, thoughtful amenities and visual connections into treatment spaces. It reflects the owner’s belief that veterinary environments can be practical, personal and beautiful.
