Rethinking the classroom
OneSchool Global sought to extend its self-directed learning model to primary students. Cyclo partnered with the school to design and deliver spaces shaped around how students learn and interact, replacing conventional classrooms with environments suited to different learning activities.

Spaces for independent learning
Rather than relying on traditional classroom layouts, the design introduces spaces defined by the activities taking place within them. These flexible environments support OneSchool Global’s Learning to Learn philosophy, encouraging students to develop independence and take greater responsibility for their learning.

Working with educators
Close collaboration with teaching staff was central to the project. Cyclo worked with educators throughout the design and fitout process to understand their requirements and develop spaces that supported the school’s approach. Staff involvement also helped prepare the school for its new learning environment.
A positive transition
Following completion, the school reported positive feedback from students and staff. Students adapted quickly to the non-traditional learning spaces, while educators embraced the new approach to teaching and learning.
