A former government office in Perth becomes a specialist and emergency veterinary centre, combining connected clinical spaces with natural light and thoughtful provision for families.
Understanding the building and the brief
Early design discussions explored the team’s vision, essential facilities and clinical workflow. Cyclo recognised the challenges of the existing building and developed an initial concept that was close to the final approved layout, giving the team confidence from the outset.
Designed around emergency care
An inviting reception and six consulting rooms connect to the central emergency and treatment area, including a ‘crash bench’. The layout brings key clinical spaces together around the needs of a busy emergency hospital.
Keeping families close
A family observation lounge sits beside the treatment area, allowing owners to remain close to their pets while the clinical team provides care. It’s a considered feature in an environment where reassurance matters.
Clear communication, confident delivery
Working within a short timeframe, Cyclo managed potential delays and resolved issues promptly. The team took care of the project details while keeping the hospital’s leadership involved in the bigger decisions, delivering the fitout on time and on budget.
