A new home for veterinary care in Hawthorn East, bringing everyday appointments, advanced diagnostics and emergency support together under one roof.
Care, day and night
Across approximately 1,800 square metres and two levels, Tooronga Veterinary Hospital shares its home with Animal Emergency Service. Everyday veterinary care sits alongside 24-hour emergency support, with staff on hand overnight for pets who need to stay.
Considering every visit
Cats have a dedicated space of their own, while external access to grieving and isolation areas accommodates different client and patient needs. For owners arriving with their pets, 35 undercover parking spaces and lift access make the visit a little easier.
From design through to delivery
Cyclo designed the hospital in-house and delivered the new build, fitout and external works. The project was completed on time and within budget, ready for the team to welcome pets and their owners.
Making room for advanced care
Installing the hospital’s CT scanner meant craning it through the roof which was a significant task within the build. The hospital also houses digital X-ray, ultrasound and an in-house laboratory, giving the veterinary team a range of diagnostic tools on site.
