Cyclo Group has been engaged to bring Cowra Early Childhood Services’ new not-for-profit preschool to life. The project is funded by the NSW Department of Education and has moved into construction, with Cyclo leading delivery and drawing on a strong network of Central West contractors, ensuring work and investment stay local.
Momentum on site is strong. The project secured development approval in just 31 days, and ground has officially been broken. These milestones reflect close collaboration across the project team and the community’s commitment to expanding access to quality early learning.
As the building rises, our role centres on end-to-end delivery from the ground up: finalising and integrating interiors, FF&E and wayfinding; coordinating trades and long-lead items; and managing the programme through to handover. Our aim is simple – deliver a preschool that feels safe, joyful and intuitive for children, supports educators to do their best work, and meets the client’s expectations on time and on budget.
Reflecting on the journey so far, Libby Ewing-Jarvie, General Manager of Cowra Early Childhood Services, said: “This preschool is going to be a game-changer for Cowra. It will give families more choice, attract skilled educators to the region, and provide a stable, enriching environment for generations of children.”
This centre is a community project in every sense. Purpose-built, practical and welcoming, it will provide a high-quality learning environment tailored to Cowra. We look forward to sharing progress as construction advances and to opening the doors with Cowra Early Childhood Services when the building is ready for its first cohort.
