Located on a 4,000sqm site in regional New South Wales, Treetops Child Care Centre is a purpose-built early learning facility for up to 122 children.
Cyclo was engaged following development approval to take the project from detailed design through to completion. Working from the approved concept, our team developed the construction documentation, refined materials and finishes, and translated the design vision into a fully buildable solution.
A significant part of the project involved delivering the infrastructure required to service the site. Cyclo managed major council headworks, stormwater upgrades and a new power connection, ensuring the facility had the capacity and supporting services needed for long-term operation.
The completed 1,050sqm centre makes the most of its generous site, with large learning spaces, expansive outdoor play areas and abundant natural light throughout. Warm timber finishes and curved architectural features create an inviting environment that feels connected to the surrounding landscape.
A commercial kitchen supports fresh meal preparation onsite, while integrated technology and modern learning environments enhance the experience for families and staff. The centre also exceeds Department of Education space requirements, providing children with more room to learn, play and explore.
The result is a purpose-built childcare centre that balances thoughtful design with practical functionality, creating a welcoming environment for children, educators and families while serving the needs of the local community for years to come.
