CareSouth's new purpose-built headquarters in South Nowra brings offices, training facilities and community services together, supporting the organisation's continued growth and work across regional NSW.

Supporting a growing organisation

CareSouth had outgrown its previous Nowra premises as its services and workforce expanded. The new Jim McEwan Community Hub brings together office space, meeting rooms, training facilities, family contact rooms and community spaces, providing a central base for the organisation’s operations.

Early engagement advantage

Cyclo was initially engaged to develop the concept design and manage the development application. Following a tender process, the project progressed to construction, building on an established relationship with CareSouth spanning approximately ten years.

Designing to budget

Cost planning informed the project from the earliest concept sketches. Cyclo worked to an agreed budget throughout design and delivery, with the completed building finishing within 5% of the initial estimate despite unforeseen site conditions.

A long-term partnership

The headquarters reflects an ongoing relationship between Cyclo and CareSouth, built across multiple projects. Early collaboration, clear communication and an understanding of the organisation’s requirements helped deliver a facility designed to support its staff and the communities it serves.
