A basement and mezzanine transformed into a flagship fitness space, bringing Viva Leisure’s vision for an inner-city gym to life.
Clarity before construction
Working with Viva Leisure’s in-house design team, Cyclo helped resolve an evolving brief. Virtual flythroughs showed how proposed finishes would look before fitout began, helping the team make informed decisions.
Making the site work
The basement location and mezzanine presented practical challenges, with the wider building still under construction. Cyclo worked through these conditions, considering space, safety and the requirements of the fitout together.
Character in the materials
Feature timber brings warmth to the semi-industrial interior, complemented by aluminium, glass and painted steel. The combination gives the gym a distinctive character while carrying Viva Leisure’s vision through to the finished space.
