The newly completed Companion Animal Hospital is a bespoke, two-storey veterinary facility designed to deliver high-functioning clinical spaces while maintaining a calm, client-friendly atmosphere. Constructed with pre-cast concrete panels on a reinforced concrete slab, the building offers durability, thermal efficiency, and acoustic separation, ideal for a high-traffic animal healthcare environment.

Natural light is a key design feature, with expansive glazing framing views of the Illawarra Escarpment. Animal separation has been carefully integrated throughout, with discrete dog and cat waiting areas, consult rooms, isolation wards, and treatment zones to reduce stress and cross-contamination risk.

Operational efficiency and client flow were central to the layout. The facility includes a dedicated lift, dual entry points via a large on-site car park or street frontage, and clearly zoned public and clinical areas. A spacious outdoor dog yard has been designed to function as both a dog chill out area or a consult area for anxious dogs, purpose-built cat boarding facilities are also available.

Companion Animal Hospital reflects contemporary best practice in veterinary facility design, balancing clinical performance, staff workflow, and animal welfare in a resilient, future-ready structure.
